Moving Mo Creatures to Valhalla

all screenshots link back to the moc website
Per my last post, this is what claim smashing looks like. I love it. I've got over 75K blocks (surface area, works out to about 19.25M bedrock to sky blocks) all together side by side, just waiting for me to terraform. This property contains 2 whole separate villages, all my material wealth, and a giant cash crop. It is also /clan home for my clan.

This is a celebrity among us. Kratos (Blood) writes the code, and recently we helped beta test a brand new Grief Prevention plugin- "A definitive all-in-one solution for protecting your servers and worlds against griefers, trolls, bullies or malicious players. It works out of the box and fully integrates with your permission plugin, although we strongly recommend the latest version of LuckPerms due to some bugs with other plugins."

We began the new 1.10 upgrade on a custom biome world called Haven, which I've written about a few times, but have been moving all summer to a new server world called Valhalla.

The server shops are nearly ready for the new economy, and the maze races and other events have already begun. They've also got a cool zoo coming along, displaying the cool creature pets, aquatic animals and fish, and bugs available in game. A zoom in below is tiger and cross breed on the left display, a wyvern in the center display (purple grass), lions further beyond between those, and much more.

The Mo Creatures staff are really awesome. I've been around a few forums and chats in fandoms, and I'm impressed at how well staff handle this gaming site, with players of all ages from all over the world. My friend Riv, who I call Kai in some of my older posts on Pinky blog, is one of the mini-mods now. This is on the /spawn wall near the instruction signs.

Moderator SarcasticPig made this cool staff poster.

The staff teased us this week with a fake server shop.

My favorite thing to do on Mo Creatures is organize (I'm weird), and I'm really good at doing the boring work while other players have fun building and collecting pets and going on hunts and killing each other in the PVP arena. Since I'm good at that stuff, I made a big player shop because I wind up with way too much of everything, so I sell it cheap for other players to use.

It helps that I've worked in a real store, lol.

I'm not sure if my prices will be changing when the server economy comes back up, but for now, everything is like a dollar store, lol.

Other players have shops too, but I think mine might be the only one that's dangerous, MWAHAHA. It's an open air shop, and I've been attacked myself several times by mobs spawning around me while I'm working. Shopping can't be boring if a person is buying on the run, right? 😁

This is me and my fairy horse, Smoak. I labored for the necessary breeding ingredients and Riv provided the horses. Riv has a really cool stable packed full of all kinds of horses and flying pets.

Almost forgot to mention the pool party! SarcasticPig built the most magnificent pool and invited everyone over. I thought Kity's swimsuit was adorable.

And of course we all wound up being chased by zombies just like in a scifi movie, it was awesome. I couldn't tell if TwentyOne was supposed to be a nudie or wearing a suit, and I apologized at one point for swimming up his butt going up a waterfall.

I've been dealing with internet issues for a few days, so I was very lucky to catch the big Haven wipe in person.

Me on a typical day. I look like I'm coming in on lunch break.

Apart from Mo Creatures, I have done singleplayer and realm, but nothing else. I'm a super noob acclimating to server life, and it fills a sweet niche for me while I continue working on nerve fail recovery. This vid is about a year and a half old, from Riv's realm. I've never shared any of the vids I've gotten on this build publicly until now. Kai did all this, which I think is brilliant and quite a lot of effort, and since Kai/Riv is now a public mini-mod, I think it's cool to share what got me started on my own journey into minecraft and on into Mo Creatures with Riv. I love the creativity that minecraft inspires, and I've come to love the Mo Creatures server and the players who share their days there.
